I'm so excited to be offering my first product based class! You are going to love it!
In this class you will make 8 cards (2 each of 4 designs). The cost of the class will include the stamp set To A Wild Rose (how appropriate, right?), all the supplies to complete the cards, and if you're a long distance customer or just can't make it that night, instructions for how to complete the cards on your own (You'll just have to supply your own ink.).
The class will be on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 10 AM.
The cost of the class (which includes the stamp set, a value of $30.34) is $38 and must be paid by August 5 to reserve your spot.
If you would like to purchase the bundle (Stamp set and coordinating dies,a value of $63.02), the cost is $68.
If you are a long distance customer and want everything shipped to you the cost is $47 or $77 if you're getting the dies.
You can pay with PayPal after you contact me via email. Cash is also accepted - just email me.
Sorry, but this fee is non-refundable, because I purchase in advance, prep all the supplies, and you'll be receiving all the great stuff even if you can't make it to the class.
For those who can't make it, you'll receive instructions via pdf or video with all the details on making your cards in the kit. You will just have to provide your own ink.
On the day of the class, you'll bring your own acrylic blocks or your own Stamparatus, adhesive (I recommend Stampin' Up! Snail and Mono liquid adhesive) and Paper Snips. If you don't have these things, let me know!
This is going to be SO MUCH FUN! You'll go home with 8 great cards and envelopes, and fabulous ideas on how to use your new stamp set on your own. Can't wait!
Let me know if you have any questions! Click the email link at the top of the page on the left.
Until next time...Blessing to you!

Good Morning Magnolia Suite - Oh my!
The Magnolia Lane suite introduced in the new catalog is - oh my - so luscious! The huge, bold magnolia blossom is gorgeous and looks just as great stamped in a single color as it does after carefully coloring or water-coloring. It's really heavenly. Take a look at the suite...
The coordinating elements are trendy and fun! See the cork elements and the unique die-cuts? The Magnolia Memory dies include pieces to create 3D blossoms and much more.
Here are some of the samples I've made with the suite so far:
I used the Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories and more cards and envelopes (#149487, 20 cards and 20 envelopes). I used the light So Saffron Stampin Blend for the subtle color on the petals, but the leaves I water-colored with an aqua painter and Mossy Meadow ink. The flower center was colored with Pumpkin Pie Stampin Blends.
Linda Dalke from Australia provided a You Tube video on the technique HERE.
Here's yet another example with just a touch of the Magnolia Lane DSP and another greeting cut with the Stitched Nested Labels dies (#149638) and more Organdy Striped ribbon. Love this simple design and tone on tone stamping.
The inside:
And that rounds out my current samples from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set. If you have any questions about these samples or products, please email me by clicking the email link on the left above.

Until next time, Blessing to you!

Magnolia Lane Specialty Cards and Envelopes
My second example is a direct case from demonstrator Brian King. He does such beautiful work and I love the layers!
Not only will you want the Good Morning Magnolia (#149298)stamp set for this, but also the Magnolia Lane designer series paper (#149484). The ink colors are Petal Pink, and Early Espresso. The card base is Early Espresso. The sentiment is from Rooted in Nature stamp set.
This paper is gorgeous!
My third sample features gold embossing and water-coloring with whisper white craft ink on the petals. Once that is dry, you can sponge on some color (Petal Pink). I added a touch of the new Petal Pink Organdy Striped ribbon (#149441) and the new Scalloped Lace trim (#149593)

Climbing Roses on Smoky Slate and my keto journey
Here's another card and Free tutorial using the Climbing Roses set which I can't get enough of lately. I love coloring the roses in and have yet to try out some water color or water color pencils - I guess that's next! But I promise to show a different stamp set next.
At the end of my post I'll share with you my experience with the Keto diet....
But first the card....
Don't forget it's Sale-A-Bration...a great time of the Stampin' Up! year when everyone receives free product with every $50 purchase.
So about my keto....I began it in July and have so far lost 51 pounds. I want to lose another 50 and should actually lose another 50 after that. So, do the math, when I started, I was really up there. I am walking on the treadmill everyday and I don't usually eat anything besides my Bulletproof coffee concoction until about 10:30. So, yes, I have in a way, adopted a modified fasting approach. My husband who is already thin and on multiple heart medications is doing the diet with me by default and he just had his blood checked. His numbers are GREAT and so is his blood pressure. I will have my blood checked again sometime this month. The first time I had my blood checked everything was good.
I love this way of eating and the way I feel. It is the ONLY diet that has ever worked for me. I will probably share more later, because there's so much more to share, in the mean time, feel free to ask me about my journey!
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!

Botanical Butterfly (dsp) with Free tutorial
Wow! It's been six years since my last post. At the end of this post I will let you know what I've been doing.
But first the card:
But first the card:
You can order some or all of the supplies to make this card at stampinup.com. And when you order please choose Kelly Rose in AZ as your demonstrator. That will allow you a discount and I will be able to send you a thank you card.
This gorgeous card features the new Botanical Butterfly dsp that you can only get for FREE with a $50 purchase. The paper was designed to coordinate with the new Butterfly duet punch and the Butterfly Gala photopolymer stamp set, two of the wonderful products in the Gingham Gala Suite found in the 2019 Occasions catalog.
Check out this video featuring the Gingham Gala Suite:
So why have I been missing for 6 years? It's because I moved to a new state and needed a way to earn an income quickly, so I took a receptionist job at the high school here. They needed a math interventionist and I answered the call. It didn't take me long to realize that I would love teaching math at the high school level (a secret dream of mine since high school), so I took a few courses to get my credential and am now in my 5th year of teaching math. This year I switched from Algebra I to Geometry and I'm still teaching Pre-Calculus. I love it, but I was missing Stampin' Up!
My mom was a demonstrator and we enjoyed making cards together when she came for the winter months. She had a stroke and died within a week back in August 2018. I inherited all her Stampin' Up! product and soon realized that returning as a demonstrator would be a lovely way to keep her memory alive and provide great therapy for me as I adjust to life without my mom. I was right. I had given so much time and energy only to my teaching, which I needed to do, but now I need something else as well. I need time with girlfriends and time to be creative. Stampin' Up! allows me to pursue that and I look forward to sharing with you all the fun creative times I've been having.
Feel free to contact me. I'm here to help you succeed as a stamper and crafter.
