Art Therapy: Stamp Color Relax Painted Poppies Stampin Up cards

Stamping and coloring are two of my favorite things to give my brain a break and in tonight’s replay of Facebook live I’m sharing a cool technique for stamping your backgrounds and a bonus how to create backgrounds with the baby oil blending technique. Both are very relaxing and rewarding.

One thing I forgot to demonstrate and mention in the video is that I stamped the large splatter over all the flower images with Poppy Parade.

Baby oil technique begins at 28 minutes.

Card recipe:
Card base is a note card (3 1/2“ x 5“)
Basic Black layer 3” x 4 1/2”
Whisper white layer 2 3/4” x 4 1/4”

Card recipe:
Card base is a note card (3 1/2“x 5“)
Basic Black layer 3” x 4 1/2”
Whisper white layer 2 3/4” x 4 1/4”

Card recipe:
Card base is a note card (3 1/2 x 5)
Flirty Flamingo layer 3 1/4” x 4 3/4”

Basic Black layer 3 3/8” x 4 7/8”
Whisper white layer 3 1/4” x 4 3/4”
Use the blending with Baby Oil technique (begins at 28 minutes in the video) for coloring the flowers in this background.
