Beautiful Bouquet Stampin' Up! Thank you card with Stitched Lace

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We had a lovely time with family and friends. I love having a house full of people for holidays. I had quite a time configuring my dining room to accommodate the 15 people we had but that was a GREAT problem to have! The food was delicious and the conversation and games after ward were the highlight. And those treat bags were appreciated. I'll post the video link again if you're interested in the directions.

A few of my guests brought hostess gifts and I needed some special thank you cards. I wasn't feeling the fall colors so I went to my Pinterest boards and found this beautiful card by Jan Clothier, Thinking Stamping is her blog, and she's a demonstrator in New Zealand. She makes gorgeous cards. Her card link in Pinterest didn't go to her card post or I would have linked it here. If you'd like to see her original on my Pinterest board, click here. I changed the size of the lace and Call Me Clover background. I also added the color wash of Call Me Clover in the background. Let me know what you think...
In the picture above you can see how I decorated the inside and the envelope.
Recipe:
Cut and fold a piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock (8 1/2" by 5 1/2") for the card base.
Add a piece of Call Me Clover Cardstock to the front (3 1/2" by 4 7/8").
Die cut the lace panel with Whisper White card stock and cut with the Stitched Rectangle die. EXPERT TIP: Fold a piece of wax paper around your cardstock when using the Stitched Lace die. Then run it through the die cutting machine 3 or 4 times. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush Tip for removing all the little pieces. The wax paper helps keep the paper from sticking to the die and most of the tiny pieces will stick to the wax paper when you peel it off.
Cut the 2 labels with the Stitched labels dies and stamp the greeting on the circle label.
Stamp the flowers and the greeting with Lovely Lipstick then cut out with the Bouquet Bunch dies.
Cut out 3 leaf stemps with Call Me Clover cardstock and Bouquet Bunch dies
Before adhering the white lace, do a light color wash with Call Me Clover ink pressed into the lid and an aqua painter.
Use dimensionals for some of the elements and embellish with Peacock rhinestones.
Stamp the inside panel on Whisper white (3 3/4" x 5") and layer with a piece of Call Me Clover (4"x 5 1/4")

Supplies
Embellishments: Nobel Peacock Rhinestones
Tools:  Die cutting machine, paper trimmer (this is the new one!),  Take your pick, Aqua Painter

I decided to go with the Grapefruit grove paper and used Terra Cotta Tile and Cherry Cobbler ink on my treat holders. Check out the video to learn how.

Until next time,
Blessings!
