Woven Heirlooms - Let's send a card - #GDP198

I have a confession. I'm a hoarder of my own cards. But during yesterday's sermon at church I was moved to action by the Holy Spirit.  The pastor's message was essentially that once you know WHO you are, you'll know what to DO. And a few weeks ago, I heard from the pulpit that what we DO needs to matter for eternity, so I've been mulling this over for a few weeks now and feeling a bit convicted, that my stamping needs to matter for God's kingdom more. I've always encouraged my customers to send their cards, but I've been SO BAD about it myself. Will you join me in sending a handmade card today to someone who needs your encouragement or your attention? And let's encourage each other right here - leave a comment if you're going to send a card today. Let's show our people that we care. Someone I know will be receiving this beautiful (yet quick and easy) card...

So I knew I wanted to make a quick and easy, yet visually striking card with a somewhat masculine feel, so I went to the page of one of my favorite designer's blog and saw his post for the Global Design Project challenge for this week. The sketch was just the inspiration I needed.

My supplies used for this card are:
Stamps:  Woven Heirlooms
Ink:  Pretty Peacock
Paper:  Sahara Sand, Pretty Peacock
DSP:  Woven Threads
Embellishments: Woven Threads Trim
DiesStitched Rectangles

I would love to hear from you about your stamping journey and how you've been inspired to send a card today.
Until next time,
Blessings!
Kelly
