The ribbon on this card was Whisper White 1/4 inch grosgrain ribbon (#109025) that I colored with a Regal Rose Marker (#105108) on both sides. It dried really quickly so this is a FAST way to color ribbon.
Major punch action on this card! I used 5 different punches:
1 3/4 Scalloped Circle punch (#119854)
1 1/4 inch circle punch (#119861)
1 3/8 inch circle punch (#119860)
Decorative label punch (#120907-Occasions Mini Catalog 2011)
Scalloped edge border punch (#119882)
The decorative paper used was from the Brights collection of patterned paper (#117155) and the Subtles collection of patterned paper (#117152). The colors are So Saffron and Regal Rose.
This is a standard size card (8 1/2 x 5 1/2, folded in half) and for the embossed front I added a separate embossed panel of whisper white that measures 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 inches). I think embossing a separate panel makes the card sturdy and more substantial, which I prefer. I used the embossing folder Vintage Wallpaper (#120175)
The image is from the Sale-A-Bration Set Punch Bunch (#121847). And it's ONLY AVAILABLE FREE with a $50 purchase! I colored the stamp with Stampin' Write markers using Regal Rose (#105108), So Saffron (#120969), Old Olive(#100079) and Basic Gray(#120966). TIP: When I color in large solid areas with a marker like the flowers in this stamp, I use a circular motion for applying the color so I don't get any marker "lines".
I layered all the punched shapes and adhered them to the card front with stampin' dimensionals (#104430). Then I added the pearl accent (#119247) which, I think, really finishes the card nicely.
Thanks for taking a look and I hope you enjoyed it!
Hi Kelly!
ReplyDeleteLove this card - the punched layers with bling look awesome. And the colours look good enough to eat!
