Stampin' Up! Day of Gratitude Card

I was in a Tim Holtz kind of mood when I made this card!  I used the newsprint from the Newsprint Designers Series paper pack...LOVE that pack!  I embossed the leaf patterns from the Day of Gratitude Stamp Set (Holiday Mini Catalog 2010) with Versa mark and embossed with Clear Embossing powder.  The top edge was punched with the Spiral Border Punch then all edges were distressed using the 7-sided distressing tool from the Cutter Kit. Then I used Stampin' Sponges to rub color all over the newsprint "revealing" the embossed images.  The technique is called emboss resist.  If you have any questions or comments about this card, please leave me a comment!
Thanks for stopping by to take a look!
