Hi friends! 🎄 Is it too early to talk about Christmas? Never! I've been playing with the new Advent Labels Bundle and some of the prettiest holiday papers, and I made three handmade Christmas gift tags I just have to share. They're quick, they're cheerful, and they'll make every present under your tree look extra special. 🎁
Each tag uses the same pretty label shape from the Advent Labels Stamp Set and its coordinating punch, so once you stamp and punch a few labels, you can mix and match them on all kinds of tags. Grab a cup of something warm and let's make some tags! ☕
Tag 1: Plaid & Poinsettia 🌺
This tall tag is all classic Christmas: plaid, green stripes, and a big poinsettia.
- Build the base. Cut a tall tag from Real Red cardstock, then layer a slightly smaller tag of plaid designer paper and a panel of the green-stripe paper on top.
- Stamp the label. Stamp the textured label frame in Peaceful Pine, then "MERRY Christmas" and the holly sprig in Real Red and Peaceful Pine. Punch it out with the Advent Labels Punch.
- Add the poinsettia. Tuck a poinsettia piece from the Mix & Match ephemera under the bottom of the label.
- Finish. Add a few red gems and tie on white textured ribbon. 🎀
Tag 2: Ho Ho Ho! 🎅
This one makes me smile every time. It's the perfect "to and from" tag!
- Make the tag. Cut a green cardstock tag with notched corners.
- Emboss TO: and FROM: Stamp them with VersaMark, cover with white embossing powder and heat set. That crisp white pops on the green!
- Layer the label. Add a periwinkle polka-dot panel, then a punched label stamped with the "ho ho ho" sentiment and frame in Real Red, plus a little holly.
- Finish. Add a few silver gems and tie Hydrangea Hue 1/4" Bordered Ribbon (or Hydrangea Hue twine from your stash) through the hole.
Tag 3: Merry Christmas Forest 🌲
A snowy little forest on a wide kraft tag. This is my favorite of the three! 💚
- Build the base. Cut a wide tag from Crumb Cake cardstock and layer the red grid paper on top.
- Plant the trees. Die-cut pine trees from green cardstock with the Holly Jolly Branches Dies and arrange them across the tag.
- Add the snow. Glue a white scalloped strip along the bottom for a snowy ground.
- Label it. Pop up a stamped and punched "MERRY Christmas" label in the center, add a few clear sequins, and tie on white ribbon. ❄️
Tip: Stamp and punch a whole stack of labels at once. Then you can grab one any time you need a quick tag for a gift, a treat bag or a card front. 😉

The Best Gift of All ✨
Every tag I make reminds me of the very first Christmas gift: "For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:11, KJV). However you wrap your presents this year, I pray your season is full of His peace and joy.
